Patch types
Six ways to make a patch, and what each one is actually good for.

| Embroidered | Thread stitched onto twill | Logos, uniforms, anything traditional | Fine detail and small text disappear |
| Woven | Thread woven as the fabric itself | Small text, fine linework, tight detail | Flatter — no stitch texture |
| PVC / rubber | Moulded soft plastic | Outdoor and tactical use, wet conditions | Heavier; no fabric feel |
| Chenille | Looped yarn on felt | Varsity letters, jackets | Large sizes only; no fine detail |
| Leather | Debossed, embossed or laser-engraved hide | Caps, premium branding | One colour; no heat application |
| Sublimated | Dye printed into fabric | Photographic and gradient artwork | Polyester only; no texture |
