How the design is made

The design is knitted in on the sock machine, with each colour carried as its own yarn. It becomes part of the fabric, so it stretches with the sock and lasts through washing. Very fine detail and small text are simplified so they read clearly at knit resolution, and we show you exactly how the design will look on the proof.
