Keychain sizes, shapes and detail
Most keychain faces sit between 1.5 and 2.5 inches — big enough to read, small enough for a pocket.
- Round or square around 2 in works for most logos.
- Rectangle around 2.5 × 1.5 in suits wordmarks and wide logos.
- Custom outline: PVC fobs can be die-cut to the shape of your logo.
- Detail limits are the same as the matching patch: embroidered text needs about 5 mm of letter height, and PVC uses solid colours with no gradients.
- Hardware: a split ring as standard; a swivel clip or lobster clasp on request.

Honest limits: thread is matched as closely as thread allows, so a small shift against a printed Pantone chip is normal, and very fine detail is flagged on the proof before you approve it.
Common questions
Can I order keychains and patches together?
Yes, and it is cheaper that way — the artwork is digitized once and used for both, so you are not paying set-up twice.
Are they double sided?
They can be. Single-sided is the default; a second face costs a little more and is worth it when the fob will hang and turn.
What is the minimum order for custom keychains?
50 pieces per design, the same as our patches.
How long do custom keychains take?
10–12 business days after you approve the proof, or 5–7 on a rush at no extra charge. Shipping is free and tracked, worldwide.
Are PVC keychains waterproof?
Yes. PVC is moulded rubber, so rain, sweat and salt water do not harm it, and it wipes clean. Keep it away from high heat, which is what damages PVC.
