Privacy
This page sets out what Sew What Embroidery Designs collects when you use this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impenetrable.

What we collect, and why

We do not take payments on this website, so no card or bank details are ever entered here or stored by us. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Where your information goes
- Form submissions are stored in this website’s own database by Fluent Forms, and a copy is emailed to us.
- Email is sent through our own mail server at Hostinger using FluentSMTP. Sent messages are logged on this site for 14 days and then deleted automatically.
- Hosting is provided by Hostinger, who process server logs on our behalf.
- Artwork is shared with the production team working on your order, and with nobody else.
Your artwork stays yours. We use it to make what you ordered. We will not publish it, resell it or show it as an example of our work unless you tell us we may.
How long we keep it

Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. What it does set:
- Essential cookies from WordPress, only if you log in or leave a comment.
- Caching by LiteSpeed Cache, which serves pages faster and does not identify you.
- Analytics cookies, if analytics is enabled, used to count visits and see which pages are read. You can block these in your browser without breaking the site.
We do not run retargeting pixels or advertising trackers.
Your rights
Whatever country you are in, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you
- send you a copy of it
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it, unless we are required to keep it for our accounts
- stop using it for anything other than completing work you have asked for
Email hello@sewwhatembroiderydesigns.com and say what you want. We will act on it within 30 days and we will not ask you to justify the request.
Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, kept updated, and access to the admin and to form submissions is limited to people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but we do not store anything here that would be valuable to steal — no payment details, no passwords of yours.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date below rather than quietly amend it.
